DOWNHILL SKIING is a major draw only a twenty minute drive to the north for Deer Valley, Park City and The Canyons, and a twenty minute drive to the south for Sundance. Also a new lift is in operation ten minutes from the Mill that goes directly to Deer Valley.CROSS COUNTRY SKIING at the 2002 Olympic venue in Midway promises an incredible experience for all. Considered by professional skiers from every country to be one of our “national treasures”, the Soldier Hollow course sits in a natural “bowl” snuggled beneath Mt. Timpanogos. TUBING at Soldier Hollow offers a fun day of snow for kids young and old. The 1,000 foot run is accessible by two tow rope lifts. Warm yourself by the fire, enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and snacks in the lodge near the fireplace and go back out for more. Visit www.soldierhollow.org.

ICE SKATING in the new Olympic-sized outdoor rink in the quaint, little town of Midway is a treat not many places can offer. originally settled by Swiss, the beautiful little burg is one of the friendliest little places on earth. the rink which is located on town square, inherited the refrigeration unit from the 2002 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies.

SNOW MOBILING has always been a big draw in the Midway area. there are several venues offering the sport very close to the Mill. with over 200 miles of groomed trails, many through the high uintas, herds of wildlife can often be viewed. Visit www.danielssummit.com.

SNOW SHOEING is available on the Mill property. hike anywhere on the fourteen acre mill property which buts up to publicly owned the provo river restoration project (all the riverfront property between jordanelle reservoir on the north to deer creek on the south which is the east boundary to the Mill property. the Mill property is home to five generations of mule deer, red fox, black mink, beaver, muskrat, raccoons, even an occasional moose or elk has been seen on the property.

WINTER BOBSLED RIDES are the thrill of a lifetime! With 4 G's and speeds of up to 80 MPH, the ride is sure to take your breath away. You've seen it on TV, now take the ride with one of the certified drivers down the full Olympic Course where the US earned 8 medals during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games! All riders MUST be sixteen years of age nd without any serious health problems. Cost per ride is $200 and the rides run from November 3rd to March 27th.DAILY GUIDED TOURS OF THE OLYMPIC SITES will enrich your future spectator enjoyment as on this forty-five minute guided tour of the world's highest Nordic Ski jumps you will learn a new appreciation of these winter sports. View the fastest bobsled, luge, and skeleton track on earth! Watch athletes train on the Nordic and Freestyle Ski Hills as well as on the Olympic Track. The Tour Guide will explain the sports to you as well as answer any questions you might have. Also, visit the interactive Alf Engen Ski Museum, which chronicles Utah's ski history as well as the Olympic exhibit which includes memorabilia. THE POLAR EXPRESS Enjoy a magical journey on the old steam train. each car is festively decorated for Christmas and filled with music. the cars are heated by old coal-burning stoves. on the way to the north pole the elves will greet all the passengers and a reader will relate the story, the polar express. the train stops at the north pole to pick up santa. on the return trip santa goes through the train and talks to each child. hot chocolate and cookies are served and Christmas carols are sung. Pure magic!!!
