THE HEBER VALLEY RAILROAD offers rides down the picturesque Provo Canyon paralleling the Provo River as is slowly snakes down to Vivian Park, passing numerous waterfalls along the way. The lush-green terrain makes it especially picturesque. One may ride in an outdoor car or inside. Snacks are available for purchase on the train. Visit http://www.hebervalleyrr.org./
CAR TOUR is always enjoyable this time of year. Take a forty minute car drive- (whoa, its a dirt road and we need to find out if it is dry and passable first) but a wonderful picturesque drive to Cascade Springs. Hike around the springs- either the mile or the mile and a half walk, see the water bubbling up right out of the ground with large rainbow trout swimming at your feet. Then get back in your car and take the back roads through the beautiful Aspen Forest and drop into Sundance for a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants at Robert Redford’s resort.
MOUNTAIN BIKING is a favorite activity. The lush green of the valley floor contrasting with the surrounding majestic snowcapped mountains make riding in the Heber Valley a wondrous entertainment. Ride on any of the trails through the valley. Mountain Biking is rowing in Midway at a feverish pace! Single track trails are popping up every week and there are trails headed to Park City to connect the Deer Valley resort to our Midway single track grid! It's getting very exciting for us that love Mountain Biking. For the latest information on the new trails and trial maps, we recommend you visit the local Mnt. Bike shops http://www.slimandknobbys.com/ and you can rent bikes right down the street from us at http://www.midwayadventure.com/
